SCOOBY DOO progress shots

Sidelight or backlighting is always a winner - there's a great higlight edge to Scooby's contours, paws and collar. I had some fun with the background and a simple range of Raw Sienna and Burnt Sienna colours. Both with Ultramine Blue and Ultramarine Violet added for the darks. Some conte chalk for the outline and a simple grid refernce on the photo to start with. Sorry I got so into it I forgot to take an earlier progress shot. Once I start an area, say ears, or face I just can't stop... I used some Slow Medium with the acriylics to give some more blending time.
